Enough is Enough

Television has been my source of entertainment right from the time i discovered that I have a vision. My vision still persists but sadly the entertainment value of TV doesn't. I somehow feel that the yester year serials like ALIF LAILA where the villain was focussed upon with the same expression for the entire episode were still better that what is shown on TV today. But my post is not concerned with how TV has deteriorated but rather it concerns the fast developing news world. More than entertainment channels we have news channels and in order to fill the gap, these channels play the amusement part as well. Hindi news channels have been deteriorating with their below standard performance augmenting day by day. Reports that begin like "AGAR AAPKO CHAIN SE SONA HAI TOH JAAG JAYIYE" etc do give us tickle when they are actually meant to be serious. With most crime reporters looking worse than criminals themselves, switching on that channel means loads and loads of laughter at things one needs to shed tears of fear and pity. Media through its news channels has blown thing out of proportion. For instance the AARUSHI MURDER case, I'm sure there would have been hundreds of girls who would have been murdered and under similar circumstances but non availability of quality news leads them to keep focusing on the same case. With so many episodes flashed I have stopped feeling for that murdered girl. News channels have gone beyond normal human tolerance levels. Evey new hour they create a new news making a drama scene of how the CBI would have questioned Rajesh Talwar etc. Thanks to them though that I have more blogging time and to my misfortune my favourite source of entertainment has been hijacked by people who had lost their senses ages ago.

They Never Get Old

I always thought that once they got over they wont live long. I guess I was wrong. If you are wondering what is that I'm referring as 'they', they are the moments of joy and glory one spends with his friends. My story is just about some school friends with whom we discuss the same childish jokes again and again and yet they don't lose their charm. After two long years I met an old friend today. He reminded me of how we wasted days and nights just roaming around and not studying and how we gobbled up food when we saw, how badly we ransacked the school canteen(Arif Bhai the canteen guy always used to ask us for balance). Those were days when we cared about nothing. Just us. We had to live lives our ways and that too king size. How Ashok got pushed out of the class in class VIII still generates quite a laughter among us. Every moment at school was a moment of fun and glory. I never thought after having been to college I would ever think of a school life I left behind me. But do want to go back to those days.
Its just a short message from me to my readers, if any, you may be very busy in life but if do wish or desire a stress buster school friends and their good old memories will keep you smiling.
